Introduction
Teamtailor is committed to operating ethically, transparently, and in compliance with all applicable human rights laws, including modern slavery and human trafficking legislation such as the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Teamtailor is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation in any part of our business or supply chain. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards such practices and take a risk-based, proportionate approach to ensuring compliance.
Our Business and Supply Chain
Teamtailor is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company providing an applicant tracking system (ATS) to support employer branding and recruitment. We are headquartered in Sweden and operate globally with offices in Stockholm, London, Paris and Toronto to name a few.
As a software provider, we do not manufacture goods or operate production sites, and our supply chain primarily includes cloud infrastructure and IT services, professional service providers (e.g. legal, accounting, marketing) and office operations and administrative tools.
Based on the nature of our business and supply chain, we assess the overall risk of modern slavery in our operations to be low, while still recognising that ongoing attention is required.
Our approach
At Teamtailor we are guided by strong ethical standards, including our publicly available Code of Conduct, which prohibits any form of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour and sets the overall expectations for ethical business, human rights and fair treatment. We expect our suppliers and partners to uphold comparable standards, by adherence to our Code of Conduct or maintain equivalent standards.
Our customers also commit to adhering to our Code of Conduct as it forms part of our standard terms and conditions.
We have whistleblowing tool which allows for concerns to be raised on a confidential basis, in accordance with applicable law, and all employees or other individuals with a professional connection to Teamtailor are able to report any misconduct, criminal offenses, and non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations by reporting such in our whistleblowing channel.
Due Diligence
We take a practical, risk‑based approach to supplier due diligence. We consider factors such as country and service risks and conduct further checks where appropriate. Our focus is on areas that may present higher risk, while keeping requirements proportionate to the scale and nature of our operations.
If potential suppliers, partners or customers are operating in a high-risk environment, our Legal team will engage in a thorough due diligence process to evaluate the risk. If any material risks - that cannot be mitigated are recognized - Teamtailor will either terminate or not pursue the relationship.
Awareness and Training
While formal training is not mandatory across the organisation, employees involved in supplier engagement or procurement are made aware of our expectations around ethical sourcing and modern slavery prevention. Additionally, every Teamtailor employee is introduced to the Code of Conduct as part of onboarding, and explicitly signs the Code of Conduct.
Review
Teamtailor is constantly improving everything we do, and are committed to continue to build upon our existing policies and procedures to strengthen and reinforce our commitment to addressing the risks associated with modern slavery within our business.
This statement is made under section 54 (1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
