We spoke with Loredan Dăbău, Group HR Manager at Klass Wagen, to gain more insight into how they're using AI to save them time and money in their recruitment process.
Valentina Behrouzi
I'm Val, one of the Marketing Managers here at Teamtailor, responsible for our Global marketing. I love talking about candidate experience and how we can strive to make hiring more inclusive.
Founded in 2005, Klass Wagen has become a national leader in holiday car rentals, operating in Romania, Hungary and Portugal. Having been active for over 14 years, Klass Wagen started with just 4 people, 7 cars and big ambitions to be the best and biggest in their industry. Their aim is to offer an affordable car rental service, while keeping a high level of customer service.
In a demanding and ever-changing industry, we were curious to know how Klass Wagen makes use of AI, in particular, Teamtailor's AI feature, Co-pilot, to create a smoother and more time-efficient recruitment process.
Co-pilot has been a great addition to our team. It’s helped us streamline our process and save time on repetitive tasks, while still providing useful insights.
Based in Portugal, I've been part of the Klass Wagen team for over 12 years, working as Group HR Manager for the past 1.5 years. To give you a better idea of who I am, a book that best represents me is Atomic Habits by James Clear and a song that best represents me Stayin’ Alive by n-trance (feat. Ricardo Da Force).
Co-pilot is powered by the same OpenAI API that ChatGPT uses, designed to help streamline recruitment processes. It consists of a suite of AI tools, each created to simplify different stages of recruitment, including drafting job ads, summarizing candidate interviews, and suggesting interview questions based on the role etc. As the name suggests, Co-pilot acts as your ally throughout the recruitment journey. You remain the captain, fully in control, but Co-pilot is there to support you whenever needed.
We’ve found several ways to use Co-pilot that have really made our recruitment process easier and more efficient:
Since we started using Co-pilot, we’ve noticed some really positive changes:
For starters, we've noticed a faster time-time to hire since we decided to implement Co-pilot into our recruitment process. We’ve cut down our average time-to-hire by 20-25%. A lot of this is because Co-pilot helps with drafting and screening, which used to take much longer manually.
Overall, we've also noticed that we're able to be more efficient in what we do. Our recruiters are spending about 30% less time on repetitive tasks like screening resumes, drafting emails, and creating reports. This has allowed them to spend more time actually connecting with candidates.
Co-pilot has been a great addition to our team. It’s helped us streamline our process and save time on repetitive tasks, while still providing useful insights. It’s definitely made things easier and allowed us to focus more on building relationships with candidates. We’re excited to see how it keeps evolving to support our recruitment even more!
