New: SMS candidates in our mobile app!

 Attracting candidates means meeting them where they are. And, meeting them where they are means communicating with them through channels they use most.

That’s why we’ve updated our app for you to chat with candidates by SMS! 📲

This means you can communicate with candidates via SMS on our app, which seems logical, since you are on your phone when you’re using our app. 🤷‍♀️

But, the wonderful thing about sending texts directly through our app is that all communication syncs to your Teamtailor account. This keeps your team in the loop about what’s been discussed, and when and who the candidate was last touched by.

As always, you can send emails through the app, but we’ve added a toggle to make it easy to switch between what kind of message you’d like to send.

So, how does it work?

When opening a chat with a candidate, the default message type will be set to the last sent or created message type. To change the message type, simply tap the message or phone icon on the left hand side, next to where you write your message.

To send an SMS, tap to choose the blue mobile icon. The message bar will tell you that you’re sending an SMS: 

To send an email, tap on the icon to switch it to a pink envelope:

 

The messages that are sent as SMS are blue, and emails are pink! 

How do I enable SMS?

In order to use the toggle and switch between SMS and email messages, you need to enable SMS on your Teamtailor account. This is really easy to do under Settings on your desktop. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to set it up ✅
